GPDPR
NHS Digital is replacing the General Practice Extraction Service with a new system called the General Practice Data for Planning and Research (GPDPR) service, a broader general-purpose collection which will enable faster access to pseudonymized patient data for planners and researchers.
We are aware privacy campaigners and patient groups are expressing concern around the data extraction and the BMA are lobbying NHS Digital to reconsider their timetable to allow for a clearer public awareness campaign. Perhaps this will lead to some changes to the plans but in the meantime this is gathering significant media interest and patients are increasingly coming to practices with queries or to opt out. To assist with this we are providing below some resources which may help.

Millennium Family Practice is a small and friendly Practice located in the centre of Gateshead’s Trinity Square, We have fantastic access to public transport services and are within a very close proximity to great shopping and lesiure facilities.
We offer a wealth of services that include: managing long term conditions/chronic disease clinics, social prescribing, travel clinic and NHS health checks.
We also offer an online access service to all of our patients where they can order repeat prescriptions online, book appointments and have some access to their medical records.

You can now order your repeat prescriptions or book appointments online.
To use EMIS Patient Access you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID
number which is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password,
will be unique to you.
